So assuming this is what you ment – I tried testing two of the tracks as .m2v files the same length as the song, but there isn’t enough space left on the disc to add another 16 videos.. Surely there is a way to have a still image with audio over the top?

Hi Danny,

I have used stills for the background, they’re actually the only menus in the entire project that aren’t motion, you think this could be the problem?
I’ll test it out and get back to you. I wouldn’t have thought that would be an issue though as you can supposedly have background music on any menu, and as I mentioned track 1 works!

I’ve installed all the updates but still keep getting a ‘unsupported file’ error, i’ve been checking out other forums and most are leading me to believe I need to upgrade to at least 5.5.. What could the issue be in CS5?

I had this problem too and trashing the preferences and doing a disk permissions repair did the job for me, the preferences were in the user library.

I’m now getting the ‘ozone plugin’ problem though, i’ve installed the pro apps 08 update but still seems to crash regularly
