    I know this thread had been dead for a while, but it describes EXACTLY what’s happening to me.

    I am not using RAID either, but have been thinking about using the Disc Utility software raid. Will it help with the multicam stuttering? or do I need a hardware raid setup? I have 3 1.5tb drives in my mac pro right now, but using them individually.
