Is that an open customer tech service line? I just installed the same product and have a question about the software installation. Seems the software crashes upon opening. I wanted to see if it is my hunch which is that I need more memory. The requirements say 4gb but I have only 3gb in my mac pro dual core intel Xeon 2.66ghz running Mac OS 10.5.8. Is it safe to say that is the issue? Or could it be my OS is not current enough? Please don’t say that though lol. Or could I have not installed the hardware properly? I am not sure what to check in my system profiler to confirm that?

Ok, until I get that figured out, I am still going to need someone to compress them for me when the project is approved.

Anyone willing to help an ambitious newbie out until I get my compression software.

so Kitchen wont make a quicktime into a flv because I encoded my quicktime with a non-kitchen compatible codec. sound right? jeez. so I have to go make a new qt with a different codec to test Kitchens ability to make a small FLV. whew.

cool. i am going to look into this. may be the solution im looking for. hopefully they have a trial and I can see if it compresses well. if yes, im buying it!

is it bad forum ettiqette to extend a monetary offer for someone to compress these 9 lossless quicktime videos into small flvs for me, since renderfarms of this type dont exist? One can send me an email at dan.schonberg@zimmer.com

I just opened the trial. looks overwhelming*. Is it that much better? I got an 8.5 flv down to 3.5 via sorensen. Seems hard to beat.

*Not that I am not up for learning this, its just that my project is wrapping up and I just need these 9 videos compressed (without a trial watermark). After that, I may not be compressing for a few months, so it may be unwise of me to spend too much energy right now learning this.
