That’s exactly what I found. Weird.

    Hi Guys
    Many thanks for your input.
    It’s living online.
Yes it probably started life CMYK but isn’t now.
    Scopes read it as black.
    Colour adjustment helps.
    Thanks again.

HI Andy – that’s an insightful assumption, especially considering the attached image shows no difference whatsoever in the blacks! Sorry about that – there’s a noticeable difference on the image on my desktop but not on the uploaded version it seems.
Either way I think the blend mode will fix it.
    Thank you.

WOW! I didn’t copy an entire SD to the external drive but I backed up my avchd footage by dragging it to the external drive.
I have now trashed the avchd backup file and everything has loaded! BIG relief.
Many thanks for your help. Very much appreciated.

    Hi and thanks

I’ve read about some issues around this but it’s not really clear to me. Though my project and event are definitely on an external hard drive rather than on a camera card.
    Other projects are loading ok.
I had not shut down the computer until this problem occurred and now it all disappears as the project and events load.
The dialogue box says ‘updating project xxx’ then it all disappears and gives the option to create a new project/event.
Really don’t want to start this from scratch.
    Thanks again.

    Thanks Bret

I expected my file to be that large but was surprised at the other files’ sizes. However, when I started to download one of the files from the server, it turned out to be much larger than the 850Mb that was listed in the ‘file size’ column.

    Thanks again.

If it wasn’t in the UK I’d agree that it must be the Fed Housing Authority!

But I think you’re right, hence my confusion on seeing it on the spec sheet.

    Many thanks for your help.
