  • There’s more to new versions than bug fixes and I deliberately chose Version 12 over 13 after reading the reviews of 13. And some companies (e.g. Microsoft) do release bug fixes for earlier versions of their software.
Fortunately, I’ve found a simple workaround for the problem. The Legacy Sony titler I used in version 10 is still available in version 12 and it retain values whereas the later titler does not.

  • I should have added that I am using the latest version of the software i.e. 1184 which I downloaded on 15 February 2014.
Now that version 13 has been released, does it mean that this bug will remain unfixed?

  • I’m just started to use Sony Vegas Movie Studio 12 and am having the same kind of problem. The only pre-set I’ve attempted to save so far relates to a title format but I have had the same experience i.e. that the value are simply not saved. Even though the new pre-set name appears in the drop-down list, the values remain the same as for the default. I’m finding this a real pain. Having to reset the default every time is really slowing me down. I did not have this problem with version 10.
