Thanks Chris! I really appreciate the response. I’ll take a look at the link.

You’re right :-). Jonathon caught me off guard when he piped in as a non user. I was looking for actual, honest feedback as to how the product was working out for folks. I was hoping to do this without making it an advertisement, but I couldn’t let Jonathon’s perception and opinion (without using the product) set the tone for something I didn’t ask for. Thats why i replied with the comment about Daniel in Australia. No hard feelings Jonathon. I just didn’t expect to get non users to reply. Talk about being between a rock and a hard place 🙂

Jonathon,
Thanks for the reply. I just talked to a shooter in Australia who runs an XDcam with matt box, a video assist monitor, and a Sachler tripod on the track. He says he uses 14 Cinerails per 10 foot section of track, and it works great. I’d like to find others who’ve used them for a consensus view.

Yes, I’ve tested and used the same system for almost a year and they still work as good as they did the first day. Currently on https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1236382420/snaptrack-cinerails-and-camera-dolly-system?ref=home_location the complete system costs $299. We’ve already been contacted by several retail outlets and that price will likely go up slightly once they reach the stores.

Thanks Jason. I just keep trying to make it easier on myself, and sometimes things tend to work out 🙂

Thomas and Chris, I really appreciate the input. I’ve been sick with a gluten allergy for the past 20 years and even though I continued to work, I haven’t had a lot of energy to market myself. Now that I’ve found out what the problem is and have eliminated gluten from my diet, my energy and mental capacity have sky rocketed. Finally time to get down to business, and your input will no doubt help. Best of luck to you both, and thanks again for the help.

I don’t really have a market. I have companies based in Denver, LA, Nashville, etc. hiring me. Now that I know my rates are low I get the fun of having to break the new to them that I’m raising them. That should be a lot of fun…. NOT.

Thanks Nick. I did do the edit, but I prefer not to edit…. accept for national ads (thirty seconds works for me). I just go stir crazy sitting at a computer for long periods of time. I spent the last three years pushing myself to edit shows and I finally said enough is enough. Now, and since last January, I’m just a field producer/shooter, and love it.

Just as an FYI here’s a sample of what I’m producing for that rate: https://www.roadrunnerproductions.com/DannyDodge.mov
