    It seems that H.264 compression must be avoided at all times. When using Mpeg-streamer, make sure you don’t use the native H.264 codec that comes with Canons. Rather transcode to Sorenson, ProRes for mac or such. H.264 is I find the big problem. As we speak I’m re-transcoding a WHOLE project of 20 clips!!! It just wouldn’t render, since I forgot to transcode away from the codec of H.264. The file extension doesn’t matter, mpeg or MOV or whatever… it’s the kernel that buggers it up.
