Thank you for your quick answer!

I thought that I could use this hint as you told me, but I’ve got countless pre-composed layers that will use the same mask. Therefore I’m using the Set Matte effect to simplify my animation.

Inside my AE file I’m already using the Set Matte effect on another Composition and it is working just fine, but when I create another comp and make those steps as I told you before, the mask won’t work properly – make a weird small square mask that “crops” my pre-composed layer not in the way that I want it to be.

But if I don’t get any solutions for this matter I’ll handle with creating countless Masks and using the Track Matte trick.
