Thank you very much for all your recomendation.

    This is what I did:

    Upgrade to Media 100i V.10.2.3a
Upgrade to Media 100 SW v.11

For all who ask, Why import back to media 100i ? Is just to be able to master to tape since SW doesnt give you that option yet.

    This is what I get:

    Exporting form Media 100 SW v.11 a 15 min program (720×486, 44.1 Mhz)
    – To a Self-contained .Mov – 16 min render – 2.01 Gb. file
    – To a QuickTime Media 100 NTSC 720 (best quality) – 14 min render – 6.85 Gb. file. In the quicktime exporting process the Media 100SW v.11 in G5 Quad 2,5 GHz, crash 3 time.

    Importing to Media 100i v.10.2.3a
    – The Self-contained .Mov took 1h15m process
    – The QuickTime Media 100 NTSC 720 took 18min process.

So if I go with QuickTime Media 100 NTSC I get a quicker process but a 3 time larger file, plus the bugs that I get in the export process. And if I use the Self-contained .Mov I get a smaller file but a really long importing process.

I think this is the best perfomance I can get from what I have.
When I bought the Media 100 SW I tought that passing a 1 hour program too a Media 100i it would take like 20 min. with Self-contained movies. Now I realize that it will take me like 2 hours – best scenario…Outch!!!!.

    I didn
