The file itself is shot at 25fps 1080p with a Canon DSLR so it is a .MOV using the H.264 codec if I’m not mistaken, and the clip itself is only about 3 minutes long. The strange thing is After Effects still runs smoothly, it does not crash. There is the blue banner across the preview that says ‘initialising’ and under the effects panel next to ‘rendering frame x of x’ it also is stuck on initialising for about an hour or so before I go ahead and stop it.
