I found a way that works for me but takes a lot of transcoding time. The HDV captured material in an HDV project can be transcoded to DNxHD MXF material, transcoding in Avid goed quite fast and now it is ready to be exported as a QT reference into Encore, use a good transcode setting and you’re ready to go/wait, cause Encore takes a lot of time transcoding this material.

Seems to me like a nice way to do that. Or install Encore on you’re own set and just use QT refs to import into Encore 🙂
