I understand that. 100%.
But is there a way that I can… ‘convert’ this nested timeline so that it reflects the source clips.
The only method I’ve found, is, in the edit, place the playback-head at the start of a clip, double click (which brings up the tape assembly), match frame, place an IN.
Go back to the edit, place ‘x’ (IN/OUT) on that clip and ‘F10’ (overwrite).

Let’s say that I’m trying to fake a already produced piece of music, let’s say the theme to Star Wars. I want to run it through a filter, to make it sound like I made it.
