Walter, I’m sorry but I had Richard respond to that thread. It wasn’t by any means to hawk a sale. He was just letting the user know that the Medea Support team is still intact with Richard Campbell. (Richard was part of the Medea support team for 4 years before the Avid buy-out.)
Richard does a great job supporting the Medea product line that is still out there under the AVID name.

Yes you can strip the array as obne large partition. How is the array configured under the Device Manage of Windows? It is the striped as 4 separate partitions? or one large one?

What Medea VideoRaid do you have exactly? (if you do not know send me the serial number and I will look it up.)
What Firmware revision is on the VideoRaid Product? (you can get this from the system profiler)
What Slot is the SCSI Card in? and what slot is the AJA Card in?

Either the system is locking up and causing this light to stay on….
Or this drive is locking up the system when it is accessed.
Do you know what this error code refers to?
Have you tried working with the system without the FireFly attached to see if the same thing happens?
