THANK YOU VINCE! You were right, I had one setting off. I had looked several times at all the different settings but missed that one. Once I corrected that the program monitor displayed everything like normal. Amateur mistake. My bad. Thanks again!

Hi Eddie,
That’s the confusing part. I’ve never had this problem before. The program window always showed the entire frame but not with footage from this new camera. And if I use the drop down “fit” menu, it adjusts the entire view of course, but still in the “zoomed in” look.

The only way I can see the entire frame is to go to the effects control window and adjust the scale. But of course I’d have to do that with EVERY frame to make the entire video viewable while working on it.
