Hahaha ok, so actually there is no other option than splitting the files! Hahaha I know FCP X really is the BEST apple made. It’s a pity Apple doesn’t make a 64-bit version of FCP 7 🙁

Would a new macbook pro ( a better one ) help more than an upgrade ram?

I have a Macbook pro with 4GB RAM so this actually means i need to upgrade my RAM? (to 8gb) and than change the max ram used by FCP to 4GB?
