    Hi Mark,

Thats amazing. Thank you for your advice. Where are you from? I’m from Birmingham, UK. Are you perhaps talking about the BFI with regards to directory? I am still at pre-production so the days could vary. It’s depending on the interviewees availability. But I would say at least 10 days worth of filming. Editing could be at least 40-50 hours in total. Daily rate probably around £50-£60 per hour. Is this too much?

He go someone else to do the work. I was just thrown back that he expects me to do it for free if he wants full copyright and to even create a DVD, hand over all raw material and then sell it for himself Dr his own company. I just didn’t get it. He has allowed me an interview him at the end of the lecture

Hi yes it’s the lecturer who has stated this. But wasn’t willing to pay for my time at least. He decided to go with a company that agreed to do that. I had no intention if selling it or using it without his consent. But it just the fact of what he was expecting me to do for free and then want copyright and to to actually evrn create thr DVD etc for him to sell himself. Just didn’t seem right. So he has allowed me to give him an interview after the lecture instead
