Ahhh… Never mind. I need to click on the very end of the last image. Not the middle of the image. Got it.

    Hi,

Am trying to do this (select first still image, then shift and left click last still image. Right click and create new group, control left-click on last image and drag), but all it’s doing is duplicating the images as I drag them over, not extending the existing ones’ lengths…

Any tips here? Man, I never thought it would take 25 hours to edit a 15 minute video…But sure have learned a lot.

Hmm… Maybe I’m being confused by semantics. But I believe I understand now. I did not realize there was an amount parameter. So just keyframe the amount parameter.

It still seems strange that there’s not a ‘start effect here’ on the segment and ‘end effect here’ on the segment. But I’m just getting used to the software…So.. I’m sure it’s just my lack of understanding.

    Got it. Thanks.

    Thanks. That is excellent.

If I’m reading this correctly, I would need to click on all of the parameters of the effect and then keyframe them all to properly render the effect at the correct time…

There’s no single button to press to select the entire effect to keyframe? Seems odd.

I am using Vegas 13. With all effects I can’t seem to find out how to keyframe it. All I see in the effect dialog box is the various options for changing how the effect shows, but no timing/keyframe option.

How to get the dialog box for keyframing for a given effect?

I understand the second method…Splitting. But I’d prefer to know how to do it the first way as well. I’m sure it will come in handy down the road.
