I got it to work. I first saved the default library as a new library, which I happened to call Paul, since that’s my name.

After that I was able to add any new emitter to the library.

I made them all in size 128 by 128.

Thanks for the reply. I am attempting to add an emitter to the library.

The exact steps are as follows:

1. Select Logo Spin shrink 1
2. Right click
3. Select properties
4. Select particles tab
5. Select change shape
6. Click the “plus” sign
7. Select a jpg graphic which has text only and is sized at 320 by 240
8. Select full color
9. Select make active
10. Select OK == It is at this step that I get an error message telling me “error saving il3” and make sure file is not read only. Then I get a MS OS message telling me that the program has encountered a problem and needs to close.
