I too am mystified as to why Cinema 4d’s easy ease is not very….um..easy.
I tried to create the time track as specified; but when I attempted to drag the “time” from the timeline to the “time track” box,
the box was grayed out and would’t allow it.

If you have any ideas as to which miniscule step I missed, please let me know.
