Squeeze can’t do it. Episode couldn’t either but I contacted Telestream and the cooked a patch up for me to test. I passed certification with DG so Telestream said I can email people the patch. I’m sure it’ll be in an upcoming build of Episode but if you want me to email it to just say so and I’ll send it to you in a jiff. Just to be clear Telestream has given me the OK to do that since they don’t have another build of Episode yet to distribute.

Did you contact DG? I thought they were letting people know that there’s a means to fix the encodes in Episode to meet their spec.

Just thought I’d follow up. Has your top panel issue ben resolved? If so, How?

As you can see I’m getting an issue with programed zoom speeds below 10 and I now know of 2 others with the same issue.

Today I noticed that my remote stopped working. Yes I turned on IR Remote in the camera. Yes I checked by standing in front of the camera where the sensor is located. Yes the remote worked previously although hadn’t used it in two weeks. Maybe the batter is dead but if that’s the case it died much more quickly than it should have.

450 minutes???? How so? It’s a 4 hour battery and mine shows 260 minutes. Have you found a way to “overcharge” it?

I’m getting the same issue.

If you use the Transfer Tool as an independent app rather than an FCP plugin, you don’t get the double clips in Browser.

I suspect the clips are originally sorting by some measure of where they fall on the card rather than chronologically. You can resort though but it can be confusing when you’re caught off guard and screening clips with a client.

Yes let’s hope for a Transfer Tool bug fix update soon.

How low did you bring down the speed?
It’s so gosh darn intermittent and now I find it’s sometimes the zoom out, not the zoom in.
I’m finding a speed of 10 working now (sheesh!).

Someone else on another forum tried between 1 and 3 to do a slow creep and spotted the same problem.

Try a speed of 5 or maybe even 1 to 3 range as someone else saw it.
What I find is if I start at 0 or 99 depending on which way you go, it will occasionally pause or begin to step from number to number. I had to go through the entire range to see it happening (0 to 99 or 99 to 0).

It’s really hard to discern issues when you don’t have a 2nd camera to compare it to.

I have some settings I can cook for folks too. I tested with both 720×480 DV and 720×486 10 bit Uncompressed sources and they both passed DG certification (with the 720×512 patch).
