    Also, check the size of your Final Cut Pro Project Files. If things get stacked up in your project and the file size starts to push over 300mb, you might run into this problem (“Error: Out of Memory”). Look for redundent or duplicated files in your projects and maybe delete them. Or create a new project and import the sequences you need to work on in to the trimmer, leaner project file.

    Try deleting the last render file associated with the sequence. Or extend it to the last 10 render files. I’ve had this problem before and my parameters where similiar to yours. This seemed to work.

    This may be slightly off subject but check out – https://www.transintl.com/macupgrades/index.cfm – and look at the swiftdata 200. I have one installed in my G5 and am running 8bit uncompressed with 1.2tb with no troubles so far. I am running all Hitachi 400gb drives in my setup.
