I don’t think AE would recognise dual cores any differently than it does dual cpu. I am getting an AMD 64X2 4400, so I will be able to tell you for sure then (it will be here within a couple weeks or so). AMD won’t be releasing CPUs with hyperthreading…ever. It’s an Intel thing. HT doesn’t seem to help anyways. The AMD 64 X2 4800 is beating the Intel dual core extreme edition(includes hyperthreading, unlike all the other Intel dual cores) is almost all catagories.
