Unfortunately that is the only way to record with the el gato capture card. It only shoots out that type of video for you to edit with. The problem is that many other gaming youtube channels use these capture card and can achieve a good render. (youtube presets) I have tried all of them, every single one. None work, all come out blurry.

What do you mean by that^^

I have just found a way to get the raw file (m4v) from the capture card, but my renders still come out blurry and fuzzy.

Thanks for responding back to my question, I am now trying to export the 1080p to 720p for youtube since I thought this might fix the problem. It didn’t. I have also tried the method you have listed above, again no such luck. The video exports fine but becomes grainy and blurry when put onto youtube. I know that youtube’s encoder sucks, but I’m trying to make my 480p on youtube look good like other popular youtubers have. I still want to have 720p hd but I have seen some pretty good 480p videos, since that is the automatic video viewing aspect youtube shows for each video. Any help would be awesome!
