  • There are a bunch of reasons why someone would want to run the software on Win xp. One could be that a person might not have the money to purchase win 7. i suppose a copy of win 7 could be downloaded illegally and a keygen used to unlock it or someone could borrow the disk from a friend and use that copy to install, then copy the win 7 disk. this is of course all hypothetical. I would never recommend that anyone do anything illegal.

another reason is that win xp is a perfectly good OS. there was no good reason to create vista or win 7 and now coming soon win 8. it is all to generate money and that is all. if it ain’t broke, then don’t fix it. people should be allowed to keep win xp if they want to, support should be continued for xp, and software should continue to be compatible with it.

win 7 is ridiculous too, you have to have: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor and 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)

this is just to run the os. it seems that pc’s are becoming the playground of those with money. my funds are very limited since i am on disability. i suffer from depression and can’t work. i tried to commit suicide many times because i felt that life was unfair. my psychiatrist tries to convince me that my thinking is skewed. i’m still not so sure. now i have to use an out of date version of vegas because i don’t have the money to upgrade. god, i just can’t catch a break.
