Thanks, Dennis. Does this mean that the floor need not be lighted with the same intensity as the wall? Will this pose a problem during keying in post?

Thanks, Mark! But how about during the shoot, what should I do to prevent spilling on the legs?

Thanks for the advice. How about the spill on the legs, how are they removed? Thank you very much.

If all I’m after is the look of a 300fps slo-mo of the Red, will the 60i + twixtor combination work?

I see. Can the 60D shoot 60 frames interlaced?

Can I use 60p footage from a 60D and then use Twixtor? Are all Red cameras capable of 300fps frame rate?

Can AE’s time remapping do what Twixtor does? I tried using it and I got weird artifacting, especially in areas of movements. There might be some techniques to prevent that. Thanks Matthew.

What was your frame rate when you shot the footages?

Thanks, Michael. I’m now trying to experiment with particle world. Can you point me to a tutorial to make realistic pouring sand? Thanks and God bless.

October 3, 2011 at 2:58 am in reply to: 23.976p NTSC or 24p NTSC?

So is it correct to say that both cameras are not NTSC because if they are, they would have pulldowns to make them 29.97 on the actual frame rate (when shooting 24P)?

24p from a Panasonic DVX100 is actually 29.97 because it has pulldown and 24p from the DSLRs are real 24 frames per second. Am I understanding this correctly?
