Thank God I finally cracked this one and it was as simple as a few clicks of the mouse, it just so happens that when you right click on the file in the project window and go to interprat footage the waveforms and sound magicly reappear for that file 🙂

Yeah I tried that already and it doesent work, infact I dont think it conforms at all, even when I import the orginal footage into a new project no conforming occours (folder is empty) but the audio is there.

As for Smartsound, I don`t have that plugin…

This problem is really getting to me as I can’t work and the deadline is fat approching 🙁

Yeah its quite the problem…and I am not any closer to solving it 🙁

Yeah Staring a new project and importing, all is good, but as for my current project the audio is out of action

Sorry about the Audio Spec, don`t know what I was thinking I meant 16 bit not 32, just one of those days. As for ASIO my soundcard does not support it.

Another odd thing I noticed is the there one sound clip that still produces audio and it is also the last thing I added before this problem arose.

Thanks for the reply but unfortunatly that yeilded no results, and I’am still SOL as without audio I’am stuck. Sorry to hear about your array,I can relate 🙁

Well I got most of the audio from the imported avi files from my camera and other sounds are on my video drive (music, SFX, etc…) I am working with NTSC DV Video and 48000 Hz 32bit Stereo Audio. All of the orginal files our still in place on my hardrive and raw videos have sound.

As for moving the project into a new sequence, I already tried that with no gold
