    I right clicked the box and created a psr constrain and I choose L_hand tip and R_hand tip (bones) as targets. It works ok but when I play it, it seems the box as some kind of delay comparing to the hands. Why? Has it to be parent constrain?

  • ok, so if I use the IK-only, can I bent the human-robot like he is picking up something from the floor? My main problem is the feet, they are not fix on the floor so if I want to bent him, I need to bent the upper legs, lower legs, feet and move the whole figure down and try to match the position of the feet where they were before and right on the floor again, and as you see it is too long and I think it is not the right way to do it.
    Hope it was clear, sorry to be a pain and thank you so mauch for all your answers.

  • Yuo were talking about animate strictly with IK — no bones or joints necessary. But on the tutorial from the link you gave me, it uses joints. Is it possible to explain the difference?

    Is there a tutorial for IK? I am using the primitive Figure given in C4D and made editable. But how can I bent it (like he is picking up something from the floor) without going to a long process of rotating and moving most of the joints. If there is a way to do so!?

    Ok thank you very much, I will have a look!
    But do you know anything about the primitive figure built in cinema 4D? what is the use of it? I mean how can animate it with the IK tags? it seems it doesn’t use bone but ik instead, and I can’t find any tutorial about it.

    Hi another query, I watched the Cactus Dan Tutorials and they are great, but at the moment I can buy his plugins. Is there another good tutorial that uses the already built C4D plugins? And what is the use of the primitive figure in C4D? I mean how can animate it with the IK? Is there a way to move his body (like bent his knees)? I have tried but I had to do a long process and not even good to achieve that (bent his legs, rotate his feet and move the all figure down on the floor).

    Do you mean Building a Stable Soft IK Leg Rig using Cinema 4D R8 Mocca. If so I can’t find the MimeLegFinal.c4d file and the tutorial “Advanced 1 Setting Up the Leg” and when I click next (on the tutorial page) it goes back instead (but I guess this is a different issue)
