    The most amazing thing is that talented people – at any price level – can find the right level of software and hardware for them, that will help them get started and find their creative niche.

    I understand, and feel bad if you had a rough week – I certainly didn’t mean a huge criticism, just a nudge. .. from someone who has spent 30 years in the business quietly trying to do the best job I can, even though most of the time I feel that we have to prove to most clients – at least once – that girls can do as good a job as boys. ;-}

    Thanks for listening.

    [Mark Suszko] “It’s not about the tool, it’s about the man who wields it.”

    Sorry, Mark. It’s not always about the “man” doing the work.

    I’ve used it twice – specifically to add audio to mpeg2 for web video. I think you can export QT. You may have to export the video and then the audio. Keep the file names the same, with just their individual extensions, in the same folder. It’s pretty simple to use – the help manual is excellent.

    With all the music libraries on the ‘net, it’s so easy to sample and download the right sound – without keeping all the cds from a couple libraries in the edit suite. And it’s affordable – everyone breaks pricing into broadcast/non-broadcast and market sizes. I haven’t had a client complain about licensing fees… yet ;-}

    Sorry, Micah – ppt is powerpoint. I-mag is image magnification – you know, putting the speaker on the screen with cameras. HDV cameras set to 4:3 output would work.
