I converted the DVD into a *.dv format and opened it up in FCP. I now wnat to cut out various sections of the DVD and save them off. I need to do this with about 60 more DVD’s. Once I am done I then want to go back and reassemble the individual pieces into single movies.

Imagine having your daughter’s birthday parties on 5 different DVD’s along with camping trips. You then want to cut them all up and make two new DVD’s, one with camping and one with birthday parties.

Hope that clarifies my question.
