  • uh, your audio has over 112 clipping errors, echo errors, dynamic range errors, reverb errors, noise, and was shot with a rode nt2/h4 not a schoepps.

I only speak english so you’ll have to tell me if this sounds ok. I usually equalize to things I understand.

VLC should match after effects exactly in VLC’s Tools (Advanced settings options) Video Output Module to OpenGL.

you may want to peruse the adobe forums. there’s some weird bugs like replace clip in bin, importing more than 8 visible media.
color modified because the color engine changes ire >0-90 levels in lumetri. That’s just off the top of my head. I recommend finishing any existing projects in their own version. 99% of problems is from adobe not forward compatibility checking for importing older projects .

you just have to match the number of audio channels. a lot of smaller codecs can’t handle many channels. cineform, I think can.

you need to post exactly what hardware you’re running, os, speeds, hard disk setup, ram, cpu.
My guess is that you have a slow hard drive and it is trying to load it all into memory. you have disk cache on, your running ame’s cache on same hd as os, and project media is also on same hd. amaright?

hmm, sounds worse than I thought, you can do a little trick to guess what the original fps was.

its jerky because there’s not enough interpolation between frames at that “slow” of a speed.

do a speed change to go faster until it doesn’t look jerky anymore. take that percentage as a reference and multiply it by the fps. That will give you a new fps in interpret clip fps. then simply use premiere’s optical speed change to place the “new” interpreted fps into your 25fps sequence. Optical flow will then change the fps without changing the speed and smooth out the jerkyness. You may need to fiddle with the speed as it was probably burned in wrong as well.

I hope this is right. confusingly AE and premiere are exact opposites in handling speed changes. 50% AE speed up, but 50% premiere slows down!!! haha…

    3 ways I see.

    1. 25fps/60fps is 0.4166666666 or 41.66666666% slower recording speed. you then speed up to 141.6666666% to get “normal speed” again. Final slow playback matches 66.6% subtle slow motion from top part
    2. or just set clip speed to 94.44444444%.(141.66*66.6) if playback is 100%
3.or just interpret clip as 10.416666665 fps.(25*0.4166666) with playback 66.6% or interpret 6.944444 fps with playback 100%(this last one seems wrong to me)

if the video wasn’t sped up or optically blended, you may need to do one of those again. does it play back smooth if you interpret framerate to 24fps again?

because you want to keep the speed the same, you will have to frame mix or optical motion change to your desired framerate.

ah, are you sure you aren’t making GIF’s? either way, reducing the framerate to 12fps before exporting should make the file size smaller. what is your bitrate?
