VLC should match AE with video output set to opengl. quicktime/safari aren’t srgb. they are 16-235 often at a gamma 1.8.

you can get a T1,T3 samsung usb external SSD for pretty cheap now. it should work pretty well as long as you have usb 3.0 or higher.
Primary SSD (budget ssd for good OS boot up time, and page file)

looks like chroma macroblocking. you can try in after effects. add adjustment layer transfer mode color with effect median blur. this will blur the chroma. you can luma matte with find edges to only blur the macro blocks. the high end video cameras use a low pass optical filter to block IR leak, moire, false color, etc. you can try to reduce sharpness, but anything shot at the sun probably won’t work without buying rawlite.

what is your price range and what features do you want? mic input? headphone input? ibis? I’ve always felt the dmc-g7 was a good value for 4k video at $500. not too far behind the bigger brothers. missing a few features, but still, 1/4 the price at similar video quality is hard to beat!
with a isk cm-20c $30 supercardiod microphone that sounds like a $100 mic and a field audio recorder phantom powered Tascam DR-60D $199, you can have amazing video and audio for the fraction of the price. -

Premiere has a fast color corrector with a hue rotation. rotate it until the scopes line up a masked skin area with skin tone line.

Try getting them into image sequence format like png or tiff for after effects.
If that doesn’t work, you can use ffmpeg to delete duplicates.
