oh, I didn’t know you were scaling opposite, You’re on the right track. Now to simply get your scaler multiplier, put effect, expression control, then use this instead. Set it to the required scaler. And I also noticed that you have a position problem in your frame where it doesn’t have equal distance on the left/right sides. You should use expressions for that too.

I don’t know what you’re doing wrong. I tested it with a layer scale and a camera and it works perfectly. You just paste into the scale property.

what happens if you use a long camera lens. I know that can cause distortion if you use wide angle lenses.

to link the z-position to the alt click image scale simply:
g1 = (toWorld(anchorPoint) – thisComp.activeCamera.toWorld([0,0,0]));

another consideration is to visit the AE expression forum here. If I remember correctly, Dan has a 1/2gt^2 formula hidden in the search. Also, most footballs have a slight wobble on the z axis, no matter how perfect the spin.

Like merging all the photos of the sky into a planetarium? Well, if you tried this with landscape, you would need to be very far away, then zoom in so that when you merge them, you don’t have extreme parallax errors(this is even beyond optic compensation with bar graphs btw!) You’re basically making stereoscopic stuff if you don’t.

If you don’t care about the glow spilling into the background, then you can simply motion track the actor in AE and apply glow effect, avoid the mouth though. If you don’t want spill and you don’t greenscreen, you can roto either in 2D, 2.5D, or 3D, depending on the level of precision that you need.
