Also – just as an aside Kevin, why would some be set to add and others to normal… totally threw me..?

Dave – You can assume if I am asking a question on here I have exhausted other avenues. Also – I did say I was an amateur.
Thanks for your help…

That’s it – that was the issue!
Thanks pal!

Sorry the file I was trying to add was the respond.js if I didn’t mention that before.

Hi Curtis,
I have tried adding the respond.js in the standard places eg. right after the stylesheet links, above the style sheet links, before the closing body tag – with no joy.
Yes the page works fine in everything except IE8 and unless I’m mistaken I thought adding respond.js would resolve the problem with the responsive 12 column grid system which the Foundation 4 framework uses.

Here’s the code.

April 29, 2013 at 8:56 am in reply to: Animate an object to ‘fly-in’ from behind the viewerof video…I appreciate you quick response mate,
You people are a lifeline to us motion graphics amateurs…
I’m a web designer not a motion graphics artist so its abit daunting when you get asked to do a promotional piece for work.
Fortunately since posting earlier this morning I have come up with a solution which is working well enough for me. I just used a camera, made my subject layer 3d (obviously) and then messed with the position and other bits of the camera.
And applied the motion blur like you suggested and it looks good enough as I’m working with flat colours mainly, vectors (images and text) over still images/screenshots of the product.
Thanks Again Matey (In future I will provide more info when asking for help!)

I’d want to move them about on the timeline again to adjust timings…

Cancel on that people!
I figured it out…

After watching that clip again,
I would say that it has improved it somewhat, I’d still like your advice/opinion on it though.
Also the file size has obviously jumped with the increased frame rate and additional motion blur.
The 24 fps w/ No motion blur – 2.8mb (20 second clip (6 seconds of motion))
The 29.97 fps w/ Motion blur – 3.9mb (20 second clip (6 seconds of motion))
Do you have any recommendations for render settings (baring in mind that the video will be be being posted to a vimeo PRO account). After this video is complete I can see myself having to produce a range of tutorial videos as well and the initial PRO subscription storage is 50GB. This first video will probably be 2-3 minutes long and am concerned that my employer may end up paying out for additional storage space (which obviously is not ideal).
Any suggestions to keep my videos relatively small file sizes in the rendering out process. Anything I could potentially cut corners on which will help with this without making quality or motion crummy?
Many Thanks (Once Again)
Chris
