So there is no 1920×1080 setting in Screenflow? Sorry, I don’t have it yet, so I can’t check. 1200×1200 sounds a bit odd…

Also, is the “free” Quicktime option just not good enough? Why do folks purchase software when Quicktime records the screen?

Great thread – I have been debating between Screenflow and iShowU HD. I’m on a Mac (10.6) with FCP7. I need to record an entire desktop with a video chat occurring on the desktop. The footage will then be incorporated into a short film to, hopefully, be screened at fests.

Any thoughts? It appears the Quicktime movie recording capacity is limited and not sharp.
