Try using an easy setup that matches what you shoot.
FCP choices are daunting at first, but that fades.

for scene files. It’s really a matter of prefs.

Shoot some tests if you can. I find the 370 falls short when panning in 24p or 30p modes.
I lean towards 720p60p or 1080i_60i.

Call around, that’s what I do. It’s a pain but can save you money.

Also, keep the Liability coverage but lowering the equipment coverage can save you. It’s a gamble that Not ALL of your gear will suffer a loss/damage/etc.

Ya, start cuttin. Slice a clip every frame or 3.
Take a second clip and slice it up the same.
And then alternate the shots in the track.

Nest that. Drop nest in new sequence and crop it over another track.

P2CMS will let you transfer the P2 Media back onto the cards. If you can get it working. Make sure you have the latest version or one that is compatible with your OS.
Once back on the card, put in cam. Choose repair clip.
