I would like to add that I have had the 5D Mark III in my possession since it came out. It’s been a fabulous body with no issues. Shot numerous video with no difficulties. Except last week. I’m working on a workout video for a client, and I had three camera set up one of them being my 5D that I was using to shoot B roll, and it froze\locked up to the point where I had to take the battery out give it a few minutes before putting the battery back in and turning it on. This happened over 11 times within half an hour. I’ve never seen this happen before so I did some investigating, and it seems it’s linked to the SD card I was using. It was a SanDisk ultra 32 GB. I believe it was not fast enough to be able to record the video. Therefore was freezing and locking down. The next session I used the Lex are professional card with a fast rate speed with no issues whatsoever! There for I believe if you’re running into this issue I would double check the card you’re using in your camera. Hope that helps!
