My name is Chris Stanley and I’m a cinematographer and editor based out of Vancouver, BC. I have been providing professional eye-catching HD videos to all of my clients since 2007 when I started my company, Amber Pacific Studios. Since that time I’ve produced content across the entire spectrum of film production; everything from music videos to corporate production work, to travel tourism, to even online video blogging. I was educated at The Art Institute of Vancouver in Digital Cinema and have been working in both production and post-production non-stop ever since.

My camera has taken me to some truly unique places in my life. Over the last three years I’ve traveled the world shooting in over 30 countries, from Peru to France to even Australia. This has given me an interesting and fresh perspective when it comes to capturing the essence of my clients’ work. In 2011 I was the runner up in all of Canada for the Air Transat’s ‘Ultimate Vacationer Position’ (video travel correspondent), which then lead to me becoming a local travel host and online social presence for the city of Richmond BC- sponsored and endorsed by our Tourism Board. (www.therichmondreel.com) I’ve also worked very heavily with the cruise ship and river cruise industry providing high definition tourism and promotional video content for a number of large lines including Princess, Royal Caribbean, American Steamboat Company, and even the luxurious Silversea.

Currently I’m shooting a travel television series called ‘The Avid Cruiser’, which follows the largest cruise ship blogger in the world as he visits major cruise ship destinations and explores what wonders they have to offer. (Ralph Grizzle of http://www.avidcruiser.com/)

My goal is to have my own successful travel television series, combining my two passions of film production and travel. I am actively in prep for this now.
