My fav is to create a spline for the full path (your ai path) and a small circle (for tubes) or thin square (for ribbons) and drop these into a Sweep Nurbs. Then animate the ‘grow’ parameter so that the tube or ribbon grows along the path. Then adjust the material properties to your liking.

I ordered it last week and my sales rep acted like they were sending it right away. I ordered it ground so I don’t know if it’s not here due to slow delivery or it’s not out yet.

It’s not ideal lighting for greenscreen so it’ll take more work on your part. Keylight has a lot of subtleties that need adjusting to really get a good key. You may also need to do it in different sections. Like garbage mask his head and do that as a layer, then to the body, etc..
The luminence of the green is all over the map so it probably won’t work well in one key alone. At least he’s bald and you don’t have to deal with whispy hair.
For future ref, adding more backlight to him will help the edges a bit. Also when you don’t need him on the ground, get him like 10-15 feet away from the greenscreen and then get the camera back from him a good ways as well. This way you put the screen more out of focus and reduce any likelihood of spill on the subject.
If you did it again, I would’ve lifted him up on a plexi floor a few feet above the greenscreen and then lit the floor under him a lot smoother. But this is only if you don’t need the shadows.

Probably a bit of both. Add a ‘noise’ effect to your grad and set it to about 3 or 4. It’ll be a touch grainy bit will smooth out the banding a lot.

definitely try and use your S-vid out instead of the regular composite output. S video will looks tons better because it won’t have the artifacts that regular video does.

I did steam pretty well with CC particle world. Get the dynamics right then blur the particles and lower their opacity. It’s really something you gotta jack with until it looks right.

Rasterize the flash into a Quicktime Movie (or other) and map it onto a plane in C4D.
Or
Create your 3D scene, render out with an AE generated file. Load the comp in AE and your Flash movies. Put your flash in AE 3D space and it should lock up to the C4D cam that was imported.
