thanks for responding so soon. This is a slightly more detailed explanation of my dilemma:

basically at the post house i work in in Germany, our work flow is as follows when editing on Avid. We load in the one lights from digi, and do a directors cut. Then we make a TELECINE EDL (sort mode C) of this (sorted in order of lab rolls automatically by the avid) that goes to the grading suite. They use this to grade the various shots in lab roll order. Then we get a digi back with the selected takes, with the final grade. This is then given to the flame with an EDIT EDL (sort mode A) for an online conform. So my question is, how do i create an edl for the grading suite that arranges all shots in order of labrolls, sort mode C in avid edl manager, (other than doing this by hand) in final cut?
