Now I have real problems. ALL of my region of interests have disappeared! So I load about a dozen old projects and found that all fo the ROI’s ar gone too??? I trashed the prefs, restarted the pc, and still ROI’s are all gone…..Any thoughts?

Thanks Todd, I may buy that except I have five similar comps, all relatively doing the same thing in different parts of the screen (all 3-d Strokes on masks)some of these comps work, some don’t. So it seems to me that something must be different about each comp, but I can’t figure out what….

This has been a huge problem lately for me. Even using blank layers does not allow for layer styles. We use these a lot, so making it a smart object really won’t work as I animate the styles. I have just been re-importing the new .psd, and then moving the new layers to the old .psd folder and deleting the new .psd comp and layers…it’s not elegant, but it works….

I thought it was something like that, after tinkering a bit i found that my original line of text had been scaled (but the strokes hadn’t?) it was very odd… so i re-imported the whole file and started over…10 minutes later.Done! 8 hours of kicking myself….

Sorry kevin, that was a mistake…I am no longer doing a simple z move, it’s now a faily complex scale, position and rotation combination and all of that needs to delay…..
