Thanks, Dave, for the response. I do have 16g or RAM, but I will back that off. Sometimes, though, the answer can be quite simple: I rebooted my machine, and the sluggishness seems to have cleared up.

I will try your advice regarding sub-projects. That makes a lot of sense!

Once I have a shot synced with the proper audio, will grouping them be enough to hold them together? I’m not really sure what the limitations of “group” are?

There was something in the line

trying to do some motion tracking with BCC Match Move,”

that must have led me to believe this thread concerned Match Move.

I agree! I bought my first PC from Gateway in 1995, and have built all of my own since. However, I am interested, like the OP, in an upgrade. Which video card is best suited to Vegas’s GPU capabilities?

John, I’ve installed a demo for Match Move. However, having some trouble getting started. In following your tutorial, I get to the point where I click “Track On-the-Fly,” and instead of the tracking cursor showing up, I get the “Move timeline cursor to a previously tracked frame…” message. I haven’t tracked anything yet…

Suggestions?

Wow, John, that is an amazing plug in! I recently saw a video in which the credits appeared as text “sitting” on a sidewalk as the camera moved along. Would this plug in do that effect?
