but as you said it is on a flat surface. If I understand what you are saying then you would need to rotate the assets in Cinema to accommodate the hill. After that I think that it becomes a compositing issue to make it look ok at the base?

I think Simon is correct…the only way to get the realistic look that you want is to use a 3D app and a good simulation program. I have a few tutorial on my blog that you can take a look at that might give you some feel for what you can accomplish with these tools.

What is it that you are trying to do with the tag…the external compositing tag does not have any params….it is typically used to carry 3D data over into other programs like After Effects? Maybe I am not understanding your question…
