Figured it out.
Download the 30 day free trial for Avid media composer, within the download is a codec pack that works just fine. You can open these files in any program once you’ve downloaded media composer, I imagine the codec will work after the 30 day trial elapses too.

HI Daniel
Wondering if you had any luck with getting those AVin Quicktime files to open. I can get the files to open on a PC but not on my Mac (even after downloading avids codecs from their website).
Any advice appreciated!
