I've been a working colorist and cinematographer in Los Angeles since 2006; my color correction credits include numerous feature films, national commercial campaigns, broadcast content, short films, music videos, and numerous other media and web credits. My approach to color correction has really been shaped by my background in cinematography and physical production. I have always felt that color correction should be an extension of the cinematographer's intent from a compositional and lighting standpoint and not merely a tool to alter the image haphazardly at the end of a long chain of events. I'm a firm believer that color correction is a necessary step in the filmmaking chain and the only way to fully realize the potential of an image in the digital age. My current career balances freelance color correction at other post houses including Bandito Brothers in Culver City as well as working as a resident colorist at Prehistoric Digital in Santa Monica, CA.
