    Actually I just reread the review of the product and it definitely says it is a video capture device to connect to your VHS player or camcorder and is editable with imovie.

    Walter, thank you for your reply to my question.

    When setting up the render directory this is the only change I made. I did not move the files. Could you clarify that I should not have changed the render directory to another drive?

    Also, to reduce the file size should I have rendered to Apple Prores 422? The only option available to me at the time was uncompressed 10 bit.

    I have a MacPro 2 x 2.8 Quad core intel Xeon, 2GB ram which im upgrading to 4, ATI Radeon HD2600, 1 Terrabyte of storage on two internal hard drives, Final Cut studio 2, Canon HV20 for shooting my own stuff.

    Im in Vancouver, Canada. And the work I have been contacted about is mostly web based for comedy shows, music etc.

    Thanks again for the info, I will definitely check out the business/marketing forum.
