Thanks for your comment I found out that it was a glitch in R19 I opened the scene in R20 and it still did not work. So I copied the nulls into a new R20 document and it worked straight away. The nulls came into the timeline and I was able to extract them in after effects perfectly.

Hi is it possible for you to tell me how you flipped the normals I have 4 of these characters and can’t figure out how to get the same result. Did you get my reply saying thank you by the way as I don’t see it here in the thread.

Yeah I was thinking the same but the visuals have to match a load of other animations which were all created for a previous project so this is not an option really. Thanks for you thoughts though really appreciated.
