Yep – installed the new drivers and it seems to work fine :-). Hurrah! – I’m very happy. I’ll find out tomorrow how the system performs as I’m doing an edit job tomorrow. I’ll feed back and let you know how it goes. So far so good though!

I have the same problem with an Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard and Premiere 2.0. As soon as I attempt to capture (or even if an input is present while Premiere is open) the machine cold-boots or locks up completely. It would seem only the latest (5.51) drivers will work with the Decklink HD Extreme so I wasn’t able to try earlier versions as suggested earlier in the thread.
This ASUS motherboard is certified to work with this card (as stated on the black magic website) so I’m assuming that can’t be the problem!
Any suggestions most welcome as this is very frustrating!
