Looks like I figured out the problem. Thanks Mark, it was in the Drop Shadow. By changing the Blending Mode to Stencil Alpha, I’m able to remove the blank space and keep the shadow.

Just tried it and it didn’t change anything in the original project. However, it did fix the behavior in new projects! Copying my sequence into the new project and starting from there.
