To solve your problem press menu, go one over, click the first option “movie exposure”, and click manual. Bam! Now in movie mode you can change aperture, shutter speed, and iso. From my knowledge it is basically like manual mode but allows video. I’m super stoked about this function and wish I knew about it sooner. Anyway hope that helped.
