No, not to work specifically in AE. Just in general, which of the two is considered better? I’d like to begin building and animating 3D models. Specifically something like the rotating aircraft diagrams one would see in the “Dogfights” Military channel show.

    Thank you

Thank you, if one were to learn a 3D program, between 3DSMAX and Maya, which one would be best?

Thanks, that worked for the ship and stroke! So I looked into the nested comps and got pretty close to what I was looking for but it was by zooming in and keyframing the position manually about the ship. The only problem is that it’s not as smooth as if I were able to somehow attach the nested comp to say a null that has the same path as the ship. I tried this by copy and pasting the movement from the original comp to a null in the nested comp so it follows the ship and key framing a scale but it didn’t quite work. When would I use a camera? FInally, one other problem. I’m trying to make the stroke style into Multiply but no matter which variable I change it just stays solid red. You can see on the pic that I have it changed but nothing. Am I missing something here?

    Thanks!
